What happened to the old download?
Babelfish.com offered a downloadable browser toolbar between 2009 and 2011. It was retired well over a decade ago and is not available — if you have arrived here from an old link or bookmark, that is what it pointed to. Everything the toolbar did, the site now does without installing anything.
Removing the old toolbar
If you installed the 2009-2011 toolbar and it is somehow still present, remove it the same way as any other software — through your browser's Extensions or Add-ons settings, and through Windows' Add or remove programs if it appears there.
We cannot remove it for you remotely, and there is nothing to download here that will do it. Be wary of any site that offers you a "removal tool" for it — that is a common way to install something worse.
What we are building
A modern Babelfish app — translation where you are working, rather than in a separate tab. No bundled software, no changes to your search engine or home page, no toolbars.
There is no release date yet. When there is, this page is where it will appear.
