The best way to translate Merry Christmas into German is.. 'Ich will alle meine Freunde über Meere wünschen ein frohes Weihnachtsfest!'

I tried a piece of translation software to rewrite this sentence in German:
"Want to place a sign on your front door that tells the world Merry Christmas?"

"Möchte ein Zeichen zu Ihrer Haustür geben, die sagt, die Welt Frohe Weihnachten?"
